For those who don't know what a God Spot is, its like a five-ten minute talk/devotion which is shared four nights a week at dinnertime in the hostel. Usually at the start of the year a God Spot is done by just the staff or residents but as the year progresses, residents are more than welcome to do a God Spot if they so desire.
So I just thought that I would include in here what I did for my God Spot. I even asked everyone to stop eating, close their eyes and think about what being a Christian means to them in their lives.
"When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I was lost"
That is why I chose this way.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
And need someone to be my guide.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And pray for strength to carry on.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And cannot ever pay the debt.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are all too visible,
But God believes I'm worth it.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
Which is why I speak His name.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved."

seriously, can't you blog in order!?
and stop missing days out
Stop being fussy.... yes I can blog in order but the thing is that I start them and then I get distracted and they save as a draft and then I don't get around to finishing them still later on....
